Clients, carers and the team, in their own spaces.

Hopscotch wanted to refresh their online presence and were building a new website. They asked me to photograph clients and service users from Hopscotch Women's Centre and Hopscotch Homecare, and members of the team in their office.

The approach

Consent came first.

Hopscotch work with vulnerable adults, so much of the work happened before I picked up a camera. We agreed how each person would be photographed, and made sure consent was ethical and clearly explained to everyone taking part. I then photographed carers on home visits, clients in their own homes and the team at work in the office.

What it made possible

In their words.

The photographs went on the new Hopscotch website and supported their impact report and funding slide decks. "He's a superstar in the world of taking photographs for maximum impact." Benaifer Bhandari, Hopscotch Women's Centre
