Bending light

An exploration of the seductive light I experience on streets of London after the sun has faded.

I use my street photography as an escape from the tragic events that shaped my life. Just like BJÖRK's character, in Dancer in the Dark, ‘nothing dreadful ever happens when I immerse myself in the light I see in front of me’.

Dark city skyline with tall modern buildings under cloudy sky at dusk or dawn.
People standing and talking inside the Foyles bookstore at night, illuminated by neon lights, with the store's large red sign overhead.
