In a clever move by Google, they have announced plans to launch an open social networking platform which will allow web developers to use common social network modules, hosting on Google hardware.

Google moves Piccadilly Circus to Zambia, forgets to tell Londoners!

I may be going mad, but a funny quirk on Google Maps UK last night meant that searches for ‘piccadilly circus’ on maps.google.co.uk resulted in searchers being told that the London landmark had moved across to Zambia. I tried a few spelling variations, but the same Zambian map was produced, see below:
