Google have finally launched their PayPal-style payment service in the UK, Google Checkout. I welcome Google’s entry into the payment processing market as it will force PayPal to become even more competitive. I personally don’t use PayPal all that much as a consumer, but for my clients I always recommend that their e-commerce channels accept PayPal payments in addition to normal credit and debit cards.
