15 Top UX resources for rapid prototyping

by Matthew Ogston on May 17, 2010

I’ve recently completed a chunk of research to shortlist tools that could help our team plan and communicate the user experience (UX) more effectively for PageDo. We have a distributed team – we’re not all based at the same location, therefore we need a tool that help us communicate ideas and concepts when face-to-face contact is not possible.

I’ve listed a number of the tools that made it to our shortlist below. If you’re in a similar situation, hopefully this will save you a few hours searching for the same answers

Lean Marketing for Lean Startups logoAs part of Leancamp on Monday, I’ll be running a collaborative workshop called Lean Marketing for Lean Startups.

I’m hoping that the final product of the session will be a first draft of a skeletal framework for helping lean startups get up and running with their marketing as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If you’re not able to attend Leancamp tomorrow, and you’d like to be kept op to date with the initiative, i’ve set up a landing page using PageDo – please leave your name and email address and i’ll make sure you’re kept up to date with progress.

leancamp logoNext Monday sees the first ever LeanCamp event in London. Organised by self-confessed ‘Entreprenerd’ Salim Virani, the unconference looks like a fantastic opportunity to learn from other entrepreneurs running their own technology startups. The focus will be on ‘lean’ – getting to product market fit as quickly as possible with as few resources as possible.

I’ll be running the ‘Lean Marketing for Lean Startups‘ session where my goal will be to come away with a lean, open-source marketing process that can be used by startups to generate traffic, customers and revenue in the leanest possible manner.
