New concert ticket aggregator launches

Found via TechcrunchSongkick, a music events tracker, has launched a new aggregation engine for concert tickets. Too sparse for my liking. There needs to be more opportunity for linking directly to the online vendor who sells the tickets.

Hi, I really appreciate your review of our site. For every event on our site, we do have a link to the vendor selling tickets, whether they be primary or secondary vendors. I hope you didn’t miss these links, because that would indicate a failure in the user interface. I’d really appreciate any further feedback you have.

Michelle, i’ve reviewed the site again, and after a while i managed to locate the links to the vendor site in the search results. Rather than just publishing the vendor name, it would make sense to make available a clear ‘purchase tickets’ call to action/button next to each listing.

I visited Songkick hoping to purchase tickets, so i expected to see language that encouraged me to ‘buy’ or ‘order online’.
