As reporting over at ReadWriteWeb a short while ago: Facebook is in talks with Yahoo for rumored $1b deal.
If this deal goes ahead, this would make the ailing Facebook the most expensive Social Network around – almost double the price of the recent MySpace.com acquisition by News Corp for $580m. I think it’s great that so much excitment has been generated by the big social networks, and their acquisitions, but unfortunately this makes the prospect of a huge industry wide crash even more likely. Be warned Yahoo.
